Extruder Components has a customer base including a blow moulding machine manufacturer in South Africa, an extruder factory in Switzerland and several respected equipment dealers and rebuilders. Many of the leading blow moulding factories in South Africa, Zimbabwe and one in Australia, rubber and tyre manufacturers, extrusion companies producing medical products to fibre-optic cable and injection moulding factories, form part of our treasured customer base.

Screws and barrels can be manufactured to sample or detailed drawings.  Seafreight is normally viable for shipments over 750 kilograms.  Airfreight for smaller shipments is reasonably priced and crates usually arrive within one week.  We are accustomed to shipping to Australia, Europe and America.

The reasonable cost of labour in South Africa reduces the cost of new screws and refurbishments considerably.  We find that we are most competitive as compared with our European counterparts - on more than one occaision our customers have found it financially viable to airfreight a screw from abroad, refurbish it at our factory and return.

As we service foreign markets, we are aware of the importance of high quality workmanship, and we are pleased that to date our overseas customers are satisfied that our quality control competes on an international standard.
