SCREW AND BARREL REFURBISHMENT PROGRAMME  

Screws are reconditioned using high quality, high chrome stainless steel as a buffer layer with the hard-face consisting  of Deloro’s origional Stellite 1, Stellite 6 or Stellite 12 as per the specific requirement. All screws are stress relieved and for plastic process, the screws are nitride hardened. This additional case is not specifically for wear resistance, but to reproduce the original hard, well-polished surface for minimum material retention and flow restriction.

Screws and barrels ranging from 30 mm to 200 mm in diameter with a length of up to 4.5 metres can be refurbished.
